visually appealling : "there goes my baby" - usher

so i peeped a sneak peek of this video last night, and i must say i do like the cinematography of the video, but i was expecting a little bit more. the song there goes my baby is one of my favorites on usher's recent album raymond v. raymond because it is so simple yet it expresses how one may feel about their significant other so wonderfully. so i see why the video was so simple and not as complex.

i'm so used to seeing story lines in videos as there used to be back in the day, but i guess now it's more about how the sound of the actual song can be portrayed in the video. needless to say, i do like the new video and i can't wait to hear the new eight-track album versus that the r&b king is set to release later on this summer.

visually appealling : "shutterbug" - big boi

it's been a while since i've seen a vid from the one half of outkast, but i must say i do like it a lot! it's very colorful and has many different technologically-driven illusions, but that's what makes it very fun. i like the song too, something that i can totally groove to this summer!

It's the new form of "window shopping"...*lol*

So one of my fave up and coming R&B crooners Steph Jones posts YouTube videos every couple weeks, and this week, he has posted by far the funniest one.

You know how sometimes we may not that the bread in our account, but we like to go to the mall anyway? Well, we would call that "window shopping". Thanks 50 Cent, but we've got a new term that is much better, and we probably say it even when we're not window shopping.
